'Disciplines of A Learner'

As a Peter Drucker once said, “We now accept the fact that learning is a lifelong process of keeping abreast of change. And the most pressing task is to teach people how to learn.”

Lifelong learning is a form of self-initiated education that is focused on personal development. While there is no standardized definition of lifelong learning, it has generally been taken to refer to the learning that occurs outside of a formal educational institute, such as a school, university or corporate training.

Passion for development is the key for humans and the drive to explore, learn and grow and encourages us to improve our own quality of life and sense of self-worth by paying attention to the ideas and goals that inspire us.

Points to view…

·       Recognize your own personal interests, motivations and goals – What.
·       Put it down and create a list of what you would like to learn or be able to do – Why.
·       Identify how you would like to get involved and the resources available – How.
·       Structure the learning goal into your life.
·       Connect the new information with the old ones.

·      Focus & commitment.

Studies have showed that people who are passionate, learn much faster than those who are motivated by fear and my aim always is to share this passion for improvement, development and growth to the trainees. There’s nothing better than seeing the people around you involved in what you actively participate in. As a lifelong learner, you are extremely passionate about constant growth, and people around you can sense that positive attitude. As a result, they start acting similarly.
